AskMen.com x Why Do We Like Older Women..?

Why do we like "Older Women"?

Interesting.. I was just talking to a hommie of mine, as we talking about things like this and I said you will have the most "fun" with "younger and older women". The thing is when I mean fun, I'm not talking about sex, but that has alot to do with it.. but moreso just FUN..chillin, relaxing and having a great time. At the end of the day..THAT is what most men want. NO STRESS.. and even if things are..it shouldn't be daily. I think that is the issue for the women who don't fit either category. It's no reflection on life..I wish I had this..either kids, job, man, education etc. The thing is life is what you make it. If you spent the majority of your time in school, you missed out on social things you should do when you are young..if you had kids early..whatever the case may be..LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT..don't whine and pout about it..do something..it's not too late..plus it's not attractive. If you are pissed about "turning 30" kill yerself.. you will be 29 forever..If you wanna go back to school..call a counselor..just plan it out. Anyhoo..Askmen.com has a top 10 as too why we love "older women"..I decided to post it..Let's see what they say..

No.10 - Older women are independent

One of the top 10 things we love about older women is their independence. Older women are typically more comfortable being alone. They’ve spent time in and out of relationships and consequently they know how to get along fine without us by their sides every single moment. They know that they don’t need a boyfriend attached to their hip to be happy. This means that older women are less likely to be clingy or needy, which makes them much easier to get along with.

-I would have to agree. No man loves a needy, clingy woman..and if he does..chances are that woman would lose respect for em and probably, dump, cheat, or drain his soul. You don't want that. We love when you can do your thing an I can do mines. YES I like to play Xbox sometimes and watch football. As long as the bills are paid, you get cuddle time and I watch Lifetime every once in a while..I should be entitled to that..jus saying..

No.9 - Older women are assertive

Older women often have a clearer sense of who they are and what they want. Consequently, they’re less timid when it comes to men and they’re also less inclined to play games. While a woman in her early 20s might waste your time playing hard to get, or trying to make you jealous, a woman even five or 10 years older is more likely to cut to the chase and be upfront about her feelings or lack thereof. That kind of forthrightness is refreshing; it can even be a turn-on. And it’s another one of the top 10 things we love about older women.

-This is true.. BUT.. I think that game paying is still running rampant..BUT..they are less likely to make you "EARN" something.. smh.. I always thought it was 50/50.. don't get me wrong.. I'm a gentleman and very catering.. but..you gotta give a little too. No one likes jumping through hurdles.

No.8 - Older women offer good conversation

There’s nothing like going out on a date and having a 45-minute conversation about Spiedi, followed by a scintillating story about how your date was going to buy this one purse, but instead she didn’t and got this other purse instead. A good conversation is one of those things we tend to take for granted until we haven’t had one in a while. Great conversation skills are something that younger women often lack, not so much because they’re women, but mostly because they’re young. Quite simply, older women have lived longer. They’ve seen things, done things and been places. They have more interesting stories and more experience, and that makes them better conversationalists. Don’t underestimate the importance of talking; it will keep a relationship interesting long after the spark of the initial attraction has faded.

-Most women can be selfish in this regard and can tend to bully the convo. Conversation should be like a tennis match and not wallball..just saying. Plus talking about your job, clubbing and getting wasted.. ehhh.. I'll pass. The thing is most guys..or me will act just as shallow as the convo we are getting. It feels good to have great conversation.

No.7 - Older women have more money

OK, so perhaps this entry on our list is a bit mercenary. However, we prefer to think of it as “pragmatic.” The truth is, older women do tend to have more money than younger women. We’re not saying that’s the most important thing to consider when dating someone. It’s just a comfort for guys to know they aren’t going to have to pay for every single date over the course of a relationship. Nor are they going to have to pay her cell phone bill when her burgeoning modeling career “temporarily” stalls.

-UHHH.. no comment.. pretty self explanatory. WE LIKE THINGS TOO..

No.6 - Older women have more mature friendships.

Younger women are often deeply entangled in cliques. Through texts, phone calls and daily e-mails they’re constantly checking in with their gal pals. In order to become her boyfriend, you have to have the approval of her friends. Before you make plans, she’s got to check with Mitsy and Bitsy. It can be exhausting. Older women are often less invested in seeking the approval of their female friends. They don’t need to consult their friends before making even the most minor decisions. Older women are more confident and self-reliant; their friendships are more mature. They’ve had time to sift through the fair-weather friends, the hangers-on and the airheads, and they’ve streamlined their social networks.

-Tis true. I feel like when you get in a new relationship, dating..women are too eager to show you of to their friends and set up lil play dates with them and the guy who is in the same relationship as you. AIN'T COOL. I'm not a YORKIE. I keed but..CMON..I don't wanna meet your raggedy friend who can never get a man and I can tell she hates on your "happiness". She would never be my friend, so I look at you like why do you keep her around. ehhh..

No.5 - Older women make better dates

The thing that makes older women better dates is that they have more sophisticated tastes. Plain and simple, older women do grown-up things and that’s another one of the top 10 things we love about them. They’re not interested in getting stupid drunk and passing out in a public washroom. They’re not interested in grinding on a dance floor to obnoxiously loud techno music. Older women are past their rebellious phase and over their need to be the center of attention.

-Nuff said.

No.4 - Older women are less drama-prone

Maybe it’s because younger women experience a lot of firsts that they seem unprepared to navigate life’s twists and turns. First loves, first broken hearts, first betrayals: we suppose it can all seem like too much sometimes. Younger women just always seem to have more drama in their lives than their more experienced counterparts do. Due to their immaturity, younger women tend to magnify the importance of every little thing. When you’re dating a really young woman, there always seems to be a new catastrophe or crisis. It’s really impossible to avoid getting sucked into the drama, pointless as it may seem. Most older women are cooler under pressure; they know how to deal with disasters, and they can often handle them on their own.

-Probably the BIGGEST ONE. They can handle pressure. 9 times out of 10, we look at the stuff you complain about and we think it's not very important..so when we see you make a HUGE deal out of it..It makes us wonder..how would she act if something bad ACTUALLY happened...hmm. *thoughts of fear crosses his head*

No.3 - Older women have more sexual experience

Perhaps the most common reason men cite for wanting to date older women is superior sex. Older women are better in bed. Period. They’ve gotten over all the little insecurities and anxieties that can negatively impact your sex life. Older women are comfortable in their own skin. Moreover, they know how to make the bedroom exciting and interesting. They’ve graduated beyond the bedroom basics and their experience often makes them more willing to try new things.

-Nuff Said. Once we passed high school.. you should know how this goes..

No.2 - Older women have more relationship experience

Older women know how to handle the trials and tribulations associated with relationships because they’ve been through just about all of it before. She’s going to have more realistic expectations. She’s less likely to have a princess complex. Older women are typically more measured and well-mannered in their response to relationship crises, which makes the chances of a long-term relationship with her much better.

-If you are reading this, and you still THINK you are a princess.. *DEAD*

No.1 - Older women value your time together

Equipped with a clear sense of what’s really important in life, older women are more appreciative of the time you spend together and they aren’t likely to be reckless with your emotions. That’s the thing we love most about older women. While younger women often don’t take men, relationships or life in general very seriously, an older woman understands the value of a good man. She’s seen what’s out there, she knows what’s at stake and she’s not likely to take you for granted.

AskMen.com x Don't Try To Impress a Women..

Again.. I check out askmen.com from time to time and I gotta say.. if you not on this site. It's giving the game away.. I wish I had this some years ago. Hope this site stays around for me and my unborn son.. lol. (no kids on the way, no rumors please) BUT.. check this article out by the hommie Dean Cardell.. Dont try to impress women in the company of men.. It's an automatic downfall..

For the longest time, we have had to keep our mouths shut. But now you’re in the company of men.

Your shiny shoes click on the street as you turn up toward her house. You're armed with the best and most expensive bouquet of flowers the store had and there may even be some fancy chocolates or something shiny in your possession. She opens the door and you’re all aflutter and soon enough, you’ll be kissing her hand and her ass just to impress her. Stop stooping and stand up, man. Don't try to impress women.

Stop selling out your gender

Almost every man is guilty of it: trying to impress women so that they will date you, sleep with you, stay with you, etc. Still, it may even seem like the logical thing to do in that bar or club or on that first date. Maybe you say something smart and try to look worldly and deep. Maybe you rent or borrow a really nice car to show up in. Or maybe you spend more than you can afford on dinner. Whatever the trick, you’re trying to impress a woman, and that is the worst thing to do. Why? Because, slowly but surely, you are doing your gender a disservice. Your attempts to impress women are really groveling and you’re perpetuating the myth that guys should have to stoop to please.

A man’s attempt to impress women sells out his dignity, his confidence and his self-esteem. He stops being himself, speaking his mind, giving his opinion, and making decisions as a real man should.
This is what I call a B.A.N. I think we all know what this is.. and if you don't hit me on twitter..we can talk on it.. but just BE YOURSELF.. end of the day.. it will always go back to that anyway.. only so long you can pretend.. "I FORGIVE YOU..HUSTLING JUST AINT YOU" (c) Jay-Z "D'evils

A nutless wonder

This self-emasculation only gives life to the idea that a man must bow down, work like a dog and prove himself worthy to the women he dates. Forget about whether he’s a good man or a stand-up guy. Impressing women is about what you can do for them and not about who you are. Instead of cutting off your pair, try growing them. Once you start down that road of trying to impress women, you do not become their equal; you become their lap dog.

There was a time when men were men and talked to women instead of trying to impress them. Somewhere along the way, fellas began to believe that putting women on pedestals was the only way to get their attention. No, putting them on some make-believe podium will really push them away and leave you a nutless disappointment to mankind.

“Well, Dean, if I shouldn’t impress her, what should I do instead?” Just be yourself with your own confidence. Most men run around with hooks in their cheeks and leashes on their necks trying to please some woman or another. Be you. Any woman worth talking to will communicate with the real you, a man who stands up straight and speaks his mind. Impressing her will only leave you a slave.
....CHUUUCH.. can I get an AMEN..take the petistool away and burn it.. Nothing wrong with being a gentlemen.. but this route will get you no where..end of the day.. a "strong" woman needs a "STRONGER" man.. or mate/partner.. however you rolling but..take charge.. she actually wants you too..but NOTHING IS GIVEN

Impress US, Baby

With all the talk of equality and role reversal, try this: Instead of submitting to women for their approval, guys should be waiting for women to put their own dignity and self-respect on the line. Ladies should find their own ways, standing up or lying down, to impress men.

I’m Dean Cardell and I make no apologies.

..pass the collection plate.. as harsh as he sounds..(maybe to some) THAT IS THE WAY.. be a man.. when a woman is in love or cares for you.. nothing she will NOT DO.. NOTHING.. so men.. take charge.. don't be a B.A.N. take what you want.. and if she dont want it.. she is missing out..

Relationships w/ Lydia Cotton..

I ran across this and was just watching it to see what she said.. now.. she said soem things I agree with and some well.. ehhhh.. smh..

Things get a lil bit real.. in this clip.. always judge a woman by her hair.. yea.. I SAID IT.. that is the key.. hair tells what mood they are in.. a lil nugget for the fellas but.. she not feeling the fellas in this one..

uhh.. smh.. yea men want a "strong" woman.. I mean.. who wouldnt..but..we don't want no man in a woman's body.. say what you want but it's all about roles.. Men are suppose to lead.. not saying be a dictator but.. lead..by example.. if your man is not a good "leader".. leave em.. but men gonna "man up" also.. but that is another convo..

UHHH.. smh.. damn.. so off base.. it aint even funny.. so focused on the wrong things.. end of the day.. we all want what we can't have sometimes.. with that.. the "best" "most intelligent"..smh.. listen who she names.. FREDERICK DOUGLASS.. KEENAN IVORY WAYANS.. (lol @ Ivory) but.. I bet if he was working in your office you would not give em a chance.. and that is what it is.. drop your guard.. stop the games.. and get to know a dude.. that simple.. before Shrek 3 it was Shrek 1.. things go in order.. let it flow..

aiight i'm done..

AskMen.com x I'M the MAN..

I ran across this link on askmen.com..again a site every man and women should check out. This one is basically about bossing up in relationships.

"You're the man" you tell yourself in the early stages of a relationship. And you are. The first stages of dating are full of masculinity: you've got the girl, you take her out, impress her, ward off rival males... you are James Bond.

After a while, however, you'll find the relationship dominated by the more feminine emotions: what you feel, why you feel it, caring, sharing and quiet nights in... the alpha male days seem to give way to becoming her girlfriend in men's clothing.

But your masculinity is important. It's why she's with you in the first place. She might think she likes a boyfriend who she can treat like a gal pal, but without that male-female dynamic you're in trouble.

Control your emotions

The new sensitive man is a modern construct. Throughout history, men didn't weep over flowers and sunsets; we used to be strong, rational and full of restraint. It's worked for millions of years, and it still works now.

The key is to remember all that stuff your dad told you about being the man: Men don't burst into tears; they don't throw emotional tantrums when things aren't going their way; they take life on the chin; they keep a clear, level head during the good and bad parts of the relationship; they don't turn problems into insults thrown at each other; they don't go all dewy-eyed whenever she kisses you.

Not that you should become an emotionless statue. Of course, you have to have feelings and romance in your relationship. The point is balance -- it's about keeping your emotions under control rather than letting them rule you.

Be decisive

If you've found that fewer decisions are being made by you, it's time to take the reins again. You have to take the role of being the man. Being decisive puts you in the driver’s seat, and shows her you aren't afraid to step up and look after her.

Being decisive is shown in both big and small ways. If she asks you which outfit to wear, don't just shrug. The correct response is, "That one? You look great in it." It can also be as big as booking a surprise trip for the two of you. Even if she makes the choice, some decisiveness can be retained by actively and enthusiastically taking part rather than just doing what you're told.

Taking control is a way of showing her you aren't a wuss. The appeal of the fact that she can order you around is short-lived, but a strong assertive guy will remain attractive in the long-term. This isn't an excuse to become bossy, which should be avoided at all costs. It can even be romantic as you take control and tell her she's having dinner with you tonight.

Be Independent

Independence is a must. Remember how you hate clingy girlfriends? Or how someone whose own existence is so intertwined with yours that it gets on your nerves? That cuts both ways. Being the man means keeping your independence.

While sharing some activities brings you closer together, sharing everything is suffocating. She won't want a guy who constantly follows her around, and you don't want to be that guy. Keep your own independent existence by having activities that are separate from her.

The old cliché that absence makes the heart grow fonder is true. Balance your activities between shared ones and your own interests. Not having someone entirely causes attraction, which usually disappears when we do have them entirely. If you maintain private parts of your life, you'll both appreciate the times together as well as build attraction rather than boredom.

Pursue male activities

Being the man involves hanging out with other guys in manly scenarios. Make sure you have plenty of time with the boys so you aren't overwhelmed with feminine thoughts and hormones. Keep up the team sports, the stag nights, watching the football, playing poker... all those activities where guys bond with each other.

Another key is keeping some degree of masculinity to your surroundings. One day you wake up and your home has been taken over by cushions, cuddly toys and other frilly pink possessions. Short of banning these entirely, make sure there's enough of your stuff to counterbalance this, so hang on to the PlayStation, that nice sound system and all that sports memorabilia.

You're the man!

What we’re trying to say is: Keep some balance. A relationship can find itself drowning in female concerns and emotions at the expense of your masculine side. While these are a necessary element, being the man means making sure there's room for your things too.

You. Are. The. Man.

Remember that.

AskMen.com x 8 Things Women are Insecure About..

Here is a lil info I got from askmen.com. See what they say.
Her Dating Insecurities

1- You might not call her after the date

Following through with what you've promised her is the first step to building a woman's trust. So, if you say you are going to call her on Thursday, call her on Thursday. If you say Friday, do it. If that's not your style, though, or you'd like to keep her attention, just don't be definite about when you'll be calling. It's better than breaking a promise, and at least she won't be waiting by the phone on a particular day.

2- You just want to sleep with her

It's a hard line to walk: If you make a move too soon, she'll think that's all you want. If you wait too long, she'll think you're just interested in her friendship. The best way to work this is to just be sincere. If you are genuinely interested in pursuing a relationship with her, let her know. From there, she'll give you the signals to let you know when she's ready to get romantic with you.

3- You're dating other women

It is perfectly acceptable to casually date more than one woman at the same time -- as long as you are honest about it. So, if you are dating multiple women, don't lie about it. You don't have to bring it up in the conversation, but if she does, be honest. Once you start sleeping together or things seem to take a turn for the serious, she might assume you're exclusive, so it's only fair to let her know if that's not the case.

4- You're not that interested

Even the most confident woman sometimes needs a little affirmation that you're interested in her. You could let her know by telling her outright or through a gesture, such as sending her flowers or calling her in the middle of the day -- just a little hint to let her know that she's special to you.

Her Relationship Insecurities

5- You're cheating on her

Ask yourself the following question: Why is she insecure that I'm going to cheat on her? Have you given her a reason by cheating in the past? If that's the case, we'd be hard pressed to say that she's being irrational. If that's not the case, however, you have to discuss the issue head-on and let her know that you are committed and have no intention of cheating.

6- She's not satisfying you in bed

Just like men, women have a lot of performance anxiety in the bedroom. If things are going well in that department, make sure to let her know. If not, however, be sure to address the issue in the most sensitive manner possible. For example, don't tell her, "I don't like the way you..." Instead, tell her, "Let's try it this way..."

7- You're not attracted to her anymore

Just because you are a few years into a relationship, it doesn't mean that she doesn't need reassurance anymore. In fact, because you are a few years into a relationship, you have to work extra hard to let her know that you still find her attractive. Remember to compliment her and let her know that she still has it. This will reap rewards for you too -- it'll help keep your romance alive.

8- Another woman is stealing your attention

Do you flirt with other women in front of her? If you do this consistently, we don't blame her for feeling insecure in this department. There is nothing wrong with harmless flirting -- but when you're with her, devote all your attention to her. You can flirt on your own time.

Secure Her..

Yes, the world of dating is harsh. But with a little foresight and sincerity, you can make her feel infinitely more secure -- both about your relationship and about herself. After reading the above tips, you should now be in a much better position to boost her sinking ego. So, if you genuinely care about her, isn't it worth the extra effort?

Shanel Cooper x Attitudes

AskMen.com x Married Sex Tips

Shy Magazine x 12 Foreplay Tips for Women

Ran across this..thought why not post it. Can't say I never tried to help you out.

1. Sneak Peek

Why wait till the two of you get to the bedroom? Give him a sneak peek of what’s instore for him. For example, If the two of you are at a romantic dinner date, graze his thighs gently and give him the “I want you now” look and then kiss him passionately on the cab ride home. Or if he’s at work, send him naughty messages or a risqué photo of yourself, if you’re brave enough. Don’t be surprised if he rushes home early.

2. Strip tease

Men are visual creatures. So treat him to a strip tease with slow, seductive moves as you slide your clothes off bit by bit. Afraid you don’t know any moves? Google away and practise when he’s not around. If you are too shy, drink a glass of wine or two together. It’ll loosen you up and your “perfomance anxiety” will go out the window (as will your clothes).

3. Kiss Kiss Baby

Nothing gets me in the mood like a nice, long, passionate kiss and I know it would have the same effect on most men . Start off with gentle little kisses, moving on to a full fledged lusty kiss, tongue et all, while your hand explores every nook and cranny of his body. Don’t forget to use your tongue on his ever sensitive neck and ears.

4. Be the boss

Men like it when their women take control in bed. And no, I’m not talking bondage or anything extreme or uncomfortable. Get on top of him and simply let him know that you’re in charge and that he better listen to you or else there will be “dire consequences.” For added measure, spank him gently so he knows you mean it.

5. Massage

Who says only women enjoy a sensual massage? Do the same for your man and I promise you, he will want you more than he ever has. If you have time on your hands, bring out the massage oils, light some candles, play soft music…basically, the whole nine yards.

6. Role-playing

Nothing like good old role playing to add some intensity to your bedroom games. There are endless possible storylines and while there is no need for costumes, you could always try on a wig, pretend you’re his favorite celebrity or some exotic princess from a far away land…

7. No hands

Play a game. Rules of the game? That he can do whatever he wants to you without using his hands. The added challenge will make it exciting and just so much more fun!

8. Mirror mirror on the wall

If you can manage it, get a big mirror and place it strategically in your bedroom. I don’t know what it is about watching themselves that drives men over the edge, but it works and how!

9. Icy breath

Temperature can play a big role in heightening his arousal. Start by letting your parted lips linger somewhere on his body like his stomach or chest, then slowly exhale to let him feel the rush of hot air. To cool him down, make him lie on his back and use an ice cube to slowly draw an icy line all over his body. The temperature change between hot and cold will drive him nuts! What would we ever do without Cosmo and their tips?!

10. Dirty talking

While it comes naturally to some women, the rest of us fumble and mumble when it comes to dirty talking. Do what I did. Google a few standard lines and shoot them like a pro. For example: “Do you like that baby?”, “That feels sooo good.” Add in a few moans and “yes”-es and you’re set. Someday I will master the art of dirty talking andwhat a glorious day that will be!

11. Blindfold him

I know I said men are visual but sometimes sensations can work just as well, if not better. Blindfold him using a scarf and then work your magic. Run your hands all over him. Let him feel your warm breath over him, the silk of your lingerie and when he leasts expects it, go down on him stop abruptly and go back to gently teasing him. The suspense of your next move will kill him (in a good way).

12. Go where no man…err woman has gone before

Lastly, don’t be afraid to try something new. Change things up. Experiment. Push the boundaries. You never know what amazing discoveries you might make!

So the next time you’re in bed with him, don’t head right for his little friend. Surprise him, tease him and blow his socks off! Remember the rules of karma, what goes around comes around

Do you have some amazing foreplay tips to share yourself? Go on, we’re listening…

AskMen.com x Sex Myths

                                                                  TOP 10 Sex Myths

Advice for the Ladies..

I put up one not too long ago about relationships from one perspective, now i'm putting one up from another. The difference is..well..I totally disagree with this chick and she seems to be off in her advice. But hey.. I dropped a PSA for you.. the more you know.
